iHealth Far Infrared Saunas are manufactured primarily for commercial use and only quality fittings and materials are used in production. Our far infrared saunas are made from Hemlock Spruce which is sourced from Canada. We use Hemlock, rather than Cedar, as it is a wood that has no toxins and almost no odour. We love Cedar, however it emits an oil (which gives it its' lovely aroma) but unfortunately some people have sensitivity to such strong smells.
There are no toxic glues, resins, veneers, plywood or MDF used in the construction of an iHealth Far Infrared Sauna.
